everyone has to start from somewhere
to anyone who is facing impostor syndrome, i like to present you with this quote. perhaps share a little more personal background on myself and shed light to the immense privileges i have. i acknowledge the world is not created equal, and to all who are battling it on the ground day by day, my respect goes to you. it is hard to understand your struggles when i do not have to go through them. i have the privilege of the peace of mind, flexibility, optimism, confidence, and belief in myself that i know is hard to cultivate when u face too many setbacks in life. i hope that i can help u see the brighter side of things, appreciate the small blessings like sunshine, flowers, birds, clean water, electricity, music, food, and peace.
we only lived once, but imo, i dont think this should be the excuse for u to go smoke weed, abuse alcohol, launder money, or engage in scam gimmicks. i like to believe that this is the motivation to start something that you feel the inner calling for even when people around you, sometimes your closest members, do not understand or see it the same way that u do. where do u see ur efforts shine, making u happy and satisfied? for me, i like to work backwards from the yearning for freedom. freedom to go anywhere i want at whatever time i want, live wherever i feel safe and happy. it means i need to be financially independent, have access to a strong passport, and be able to feed myself hehe. i am starting small, from learning to cook, clean my room, and take responsibility for my actions. i am learning about the physical and monetary world, the geopolitical world, and to stay sane and protect my peace i like to take care of my physical body and mental body along the way. and i hope that u can find ur calling, and show up for urself before u show up for others.
